May 12 - Rob!

So I got a strange phone call last night. After a few seconds I figured out it was my cat calling me to tell me that he and fluffercat are pleased with their sitter. The sitter treats them better and pays more attention to them than we did and it's ok if this becomes a permanent arrangement. After wondering how he got the number and dialed the phone I told him that I would be back around Memorial day.

So, I see 3 Toyota vehichles here that they should definitely bring to the US. One is bigger than a rav4 and like a small gx470 lexus. I think it's called a Frontier. It's sweet. Then they should also bring the toyota Land Crusider Prado which IS a GX470 with a v-6 and 4 cyl engine and stick shift. Sweet ride. The other car is bigger than a corolla but smaller than a camry... it's a nice looking car. If a toyota exec is reading this... Import those three cars and put GM and Ford out of their misery (since I have shorted both..;..... JUST KIDDING!)

So I was thinking that maybe you blogstalkers or whatever you call yourselves would like to know what our schedule is like on a daily basis.. Maybe Jen already told you but I don't read her blog much since, well, it's kinda boring and WAYYYY tooo detailed.
So.
(All times Astana Local time = EDT+10 hrs)

9:30 am get up and eat breakfast in apartment
(usually cereal and some fruit or brown eggs scrambled and toast)
11:30 driver and translater pick us up and the Brady family and we get to orphanage for our visit
12:00-2pm Visit kid... usually first part is outside up to an hour then inside to play!
2:30 ish Large Meal of the day
(usually at a cafeteria which saves you lots of moooney! and is good!)
Rest of day... Feed Pigeons.... Internet Cafe... Walk around the city.
Late evening Snak....
Then around 12am Sleepy poooo beddy time in our spacious double bed.
(I am told that queen sized beds cost 750$ here.)

Soon our schedule in the evening will include a visit to the zoo or circus or musee or a fishing trip and the like. We are getting in sinc with the Brady family so we'll get to see stuff together.

Monday we file for court date and might know next week when the big day is!!! I can leave town (unless they kick me out first) the very next monday or thursday after court. Those are the only 2 flights out of Astana To Frankfurt.... So will one of my friends have pitty on me and get me at EWR at 3 pm one of those days???? LOL.

After looking at the financials we decided to go cable model; it will be slower than normal cable but then we can IM with all of you...
AND IN THE LONG RUN....
It will save us LOTS OF MONEYYYY!

Until Next Time... keep those comments coming!!!

So you are back to the cable modem plan, that'll be good. Jen will get excellent use after Rob leaves. Hint to Jen, when you IM Rob, he does not respond unless he just got "killed" in the game.

Funny you mention about JRR, he must be very anxious without his buddy around, he's cut the grass 5 times since you left (Tyler has only done your lawn once, but is on deck for another one today).
We've double checked fluff and Tig a couple times just for good measure. They seem happy, and are especially fond of the chipmonk who has moved into the fountain off the back porch....see ya,

Chip
