We received out first nursey gift today: 2 bears from my Dad and Liz. We'll park them on the dresser for the next year until there's someone to look at them.

We received the FBI record back from apostilling in West Virigina. Holy cow we were surprised. When we saw the Fed Ex envelope we were sure it was rejected and sent back. Now we wait for the official new forms from the agency.

I got all of the forms notarized today, then returned home to find an e-mail from our agency that the Embassy had suspended accepting new dossiers until some new forms were finalized. In the mean time we submitted the extra FBI clearance forms because it looks like that will definitely be required and takes up to 8 weeks to get. We were officially fingerprinted at the State Police headquarters in Fogelsville, PA. While we waited to 'inked' we sat on a lovely metal bench, complete with shackles to keep the criminals to stay put while waiting to get fingerprinted.
